Seeley International has taken the wraps off its much anticipated Climate Wizard CW3 Dual System, and this global game-changer offers an exciting new heating and cooling option that delivers cutting-edge innovation to the homes of consumers wanting next generation energy-efficiency, automated year-round comfort, and superbly functional design.

The CW3 Dual System embraces the award-winning pedigree of Climate Wizard technology, which has been used around the world for large and diverse commercial applications, and delivers on the growing concerns that people have, to access fresh, clean air, and at the same time, to combat rising energy costs.

Seeley International Executive Chairman, Mr Frank Seeley AM FAICD, said the CW3 is so unique in the way it heats and cools a home, that it creates a brand new category of air conditioning for energy- conscious consumers.

“The existing refrigerated air conditioning technology is based on 100-year-old thinking, and in principle, little has changed over that time until now. Seeley International has transformed the old air conditioning paradigm, with the Climate Wizard Dual System air conditioner – the CW3 – which delivers the ultimate in comfort, and combines heating and cooling with unrivalled total energy efficiency,” Mr Seeley said.

“In developing the CW3 Dual System, Seeley International went to great lengths to understand consumer requirements for agile solutions that can adapt to future energy trends, and strike the optimal balance between functionality and design,” he said.

“People told us they want low running costs as a priority, combined heating and cooling that operates effectively in humid conditions, and fresh air delivered into the house through common ceiling ducts. Based on the success of the commercial Climate Wizard globally, the transformative powers of this technology have been enhanced by making the technology more compact, and delivering both heating and cooling in the one system, for the immense residential market. The new CW3 Dual System delivers year-round comfort and energy-efficiency never experienced before.” he said.

The CW3 operates for only up to half of the year-round energy costs of running reverse cycle systems, for total heating and cooling, and when in cooling mode it delivers 100% fresh air while achieving low cooling temperatures that, in the past, could only be achieved by reverse cycle systems, all while being conveniently managed by the intuitive MagIQtouch touch-screen controller.

The CW3’s cooling system uses MicroCore™ technology – the secret to hyper-efficient cooling. The outdoor unit is positioned on the roof, delivering cool fresh air via ceiling ducts, providing filtering of the air for dust, dirt and allergens, while the cooled air is replaced 10 times an hour, compared to many other systems, which typically recycle stale air when in cooling mode.

The ducted gas heating is separately located, and is connected to the roof-top cooler duct, within the roof space, thus using the same ducting as the cooler. Not only does the CW3 achieve similar cold temperatures to reverse cycle air conditioning while producing less CO2, it operates for only up to half the year-round energy cost of reverse cycle air conditioning systems.  Having heated and cooled air expelled from a ceiling upvent means that windows and doors can be kept closed, while all humidity generated in the cooling process, is exhausted from the cooling unit prior to the conditioned air entering the home.

The Seeley International Summer launch also saw the Braemar Evolution Range, unveiled.  This amazing range can truly claim to be the coldest ultra-low profile evaporative air conditioning available on the market.

“Customer testing has already given the seal of approval to the sleek design of the Braemar Evolution Range, which combines all the benefits of the tried and trusted Braemar fixed evaporative air conditioner range, with a new ultra-low profile that features curved louvres in a range of colours which blend into any home’s roofline,” Mr Seeley said.

The Braemar Evolution Range, also features the award-winning SuperStealth inverter motor and fan for high energy efficiency.

Rounding out the new product launch is the Braemar Ultimate Inverter Split System range, which significantly expands Seeley International’s current range of split system products available under the Braemar brand, and offers various residential and commercial applications.

Benefits of the Braemar Ultimate Inverter Split System range include:

  • Use of R32 Refrigerant, which has a global warming potential factor more than 3 times lower and more energy efficient (increased cooling capacity) than R410A.
  • Standard Wi-Fi, allowing the air conditioning to be controlled from anywhere in the world via an app on a smart device
  • A market-leading energy rating (across the range), which is the best (or equivalent best) on the market
  • Comprehensive line-up of eight model options, ranging from 2.5kW/3.2kW to 9.0kW/10.0kW
  • Efficient and quiet comfort control, with increased airflow and 3D airflow for quicker heating and cooling, 7 speed fan and turbo mode all with super quiet operation
  • Precise temperature control with a setting variable of 0.1°C and a wide operating temperature range
  • DRED enabled for reduced power consumption at peak load times for States with smart power meters
  • Adaptable to multi system air conditioning
  • ‘I feel’ mode that ensures the room temperature is controlled at the point where you sit
  • Standard with remote controller, with an optional wired wall controller

*Please note that the Climate Wizard by Seeley International CW3 will initially be released in limited numbers in South Australia, and the Braemar Evolution Fixed Evaporative air conditioner will be available in November. The Ultimate Split System range will be available 1st October.
