Adam Thomson

Managing Director Adam Thomson has more than 20 years’ experience working across public relations in corporate and government environments, as well as print and broadcast journalism.

A graduate from the University of South Australia, Adam began his career working in various community and media liaison roles with SA Police, before moving to Channel 9 as a reporter. He has also worked in senior management roles with a diverse range of organisations, including the SA Country Fire Service, and the Royal Automobile Association of SA.

He offers extensive experience in media, stakeholder and change management, marketing, policy and reputation management. He has a strong track record in community engagement and issues/crisis management and has utilised various social media platforms to encourage business growth and effective stakeholder engagement.

Adam has also worked as the Group Head of Communications for Elders Limited, providing support and strategic counsel across the Elders group of businesses in Australia, New Zealand, China and Indonesia, and has been a General Manager in a consultancy environment, supporting a broad range of SA and national clients.

Adam has previously been the National Deputy President for the Public Relations Institute of Australia, president for the Association’s South Australia chapter, and guest lecturer on public relations and issues management.

He is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute.
